What a show!

“Green means go” all the kids danced a storm, suddenly they all froze “red means stop” and so went one song performed by Gwendolyn and the Goodtime Gang yesterday to a full house at CAM. They were good! Now I must admit that I was not expecting to enjoy the sound….I am not a rock fan, acoustic folk and bluegrass is more my style but I found myself smiling and enjoying the show

in Shelburne Falls, MA.

In their hometown of L.A., a recent performance by the Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang was described like the second coming of Beatlemania, with kids shrieking and
rushing the stage. Developing a following on the East Coast, this West Coast band will be touring through New England with a stop at the Children’s Art Museum in Shelburne Falls, organized by Hilltown Families.

Both children and pop-art aficionados will enjoy this seven-piece band whose lead singer, Gwendolyn Sanford, dresses like a rag-doll with knee socks and exaggerated blonde pigtails. Their music has aired locally on both the Hilltown Family Variety
Show and Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child radio shows on WXOJ-LP 103.3FM (Northampton, MA). And their music video “Farm Animal Friends” has been played nationally on Noggin.

“Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang, one of those rare kiddie albums that’s endearing to tots but has enough weirdo musicality to make it appealing to adults.” – LA Weekly

“Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang adds to the kids music genre what the Muppet’s added to the prime time TV landscape when I was a kid.” Sienna Wildfield, Hilltown Family Variety Show (

Coming this fall:Dr Marmelade

Dr. Marmalaid, A Puppet Show
Sept 15 2007, 11am

Dr. Marmalaid has traveled the world helping animals in distress. Her gentle, empowering methods leave everyone with a sense of well-being and adventure.

She introduces the children to many puppet friends: a gorilla with a belly ache, a singing dinosaur, a snake that wants to be a kitty, a giraffe, crow, rabbit and many others. All the animals come to Marmalaid for help.

The children become her assistants giving hugs, words of encouragement, and even translating for a lost puppy. A beautiful map is the backdrop for Dr. Marmalaid’s world. Her traveling “Emerge-And-See” Wagon will surprise and delight.
